As you are aware, our new iRecord System has recently been installed inthe LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau. To date we are very pleased with the system and we find it very user friendly. We have already digitally recorded an interview and it is in the process of being transcribed. 
The investigator who conducted the interview was very pleased with the ease of initiating the recording system and the quality of the recorded interview. Our Administrative Assistant, Tina DeWitt, is etated at the quality of the voice recording. As you are aware, the quality of the image and voice recording was a major issue for us with our previous system. The iRecord system is compatible with our transcription equipment and is easily accessed trom Tina’s desktop computer.
We were also very pleased with the ievei of service provided by Service Technician Tracy Beal. She was very knowledgeable and her work was unobtrusive. While she installed and tested the equipment, work continued around her. She elicited input from our investigators and it was apparent to us that she was not at the La Porte County Sheriffs Office to merely install equipment that had been sold by her company. Rather, she had the approach that she wanted to help us by providing equipment and technology that aided us in doing our job. She made several inquiries that were an indication to us that she wanted to conform the system to our needs. It was very apparent that she was knowledgeabìe about her job and the equipment that she was installing.
While we have only had the iRecord System for several days, we are very pleased its ease of use and quality of recording. We are also very pleased with the service provided by Tracy Beal; l commend her for her professionalism and expertise.
